Who is Robert Heika? Missing Volusia County teacher Robert Heicka was last seen in October 2020 when his body was found in a car, his agent reported.

This afternoon, according to Gantt, a volunteer search team reported to the office that they had found a car tagged with Robert Heika near New Smyrna Beach.

Volunteers, Scout Dive and Rescue, and Sunshine State Sonar attempted to locate it.

Mike Sullivan of Sunshine State Sonar claimed, “As we turned the corner, we saw the roof of a car that appeared to be sticking out of the water.”
