A180 Crash: Nicola Courtney And Her 3-Year-Old Son Killed When A Lorry Crashed
After a mother and toddler died tragically in a road accident, people started searching for more about the A180 crash.
The victims’ names are Lucas Page and Nicola Courtney. Scunthorpe’s mother, 34, and her 3-year-old son were driving the A180 near Immingham when the tragedy struck.
“Police are seeking information following a fatal traffic accident on Friday, March 10,” a spokesperson said in a statement on Saturday.

A180 crash: Nicola Courtney and 3-year-old son killed in truck crash
The 34-year-old Scunthorpe’s mother and her 3-year-old son are believed to have crashed on an A180 near Immingham.
At about 8:45 p.m. Friday night, police reported the incident to authorities after the driver remembered making a detour around the “stuck” blue Ford Focus. But at 9:06 p.m., a white articulated vehicle collided with a parked car, killing Nicola and Lucas instantly.
Before the crash, the woman called emergency services, claiming she had to “steer” in the dark to avoid Nicola’s broken-down car. Witnesses said the Ford Focus was “stuck” in the left lane of the two-lane road before colliding with the heavy goods vehicle.
Police are asking witnesses to come forward as they investigate the accident. Humberside Police reported the incident to the Independent Police Complaints Office (IOPC).

A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said the victim’s family continues to receive support from specially trained officers and partner agencies. They ask that their privacy be respected during this very difficult time.
The white articulated truck collided with a blue Ford Focus parked in its lane while driving westbound on the A180 between Stirlingborough and Brocklesby in Immingham at around 9:06 pm on March 10.
